Re-introduction, a bit short being the second introduction in potcert.

Did publish some images to weblog and links. Made me think about students using this skills. Again learned the importance of images in communication and education.

Tried Thinglink and Zeega. Needed to publish on http://www.softskills.nl/straight-lines-met-thing-link-en-sound-cloud/because WordPress.com does not show Thinglink and Wordcloud. Added a manual to use these apps. Learned to write a short manual when using new software or apps, to help remember the use of it. And it could be a help to others too.

Made a poll. Used the poll tool of our own CMS, did not use it before.

I really did enjoy the rather technical assignments of these past weeks. Using the software to build an item is fun and a nice way to learn to use more media in classroom.

This post about classroom management. Mention of privacy, free speech in USA, blended learning, TPACK, the quiet student. The pedagogical content of the weeks to follow is interesting. I like the way we did rethink education in an online environment. Michaela Y wants to work on  the feeling of community.

Did add some comments on blogs of Potcert students here in my blogpost, because I want to archive it here for use. “The Ghost in the machine” about thinking of humans and the computer metaphor. Learned about the influence of cultural differences in online education and communication.

My thoughts about this program.

I really did enjoy the course. The technical assignments were a nice way to get acquainted with new tools. The comments of the fellow students and their blogs were very inspiring, allowing us to learn new things from people that we would never have been connected to before. They asked very practical questions and gave solutions. The social aspect of learning is important. I was very sorry not to be able to meet you in the synchronous meeting. I like the very structured organization of the course. I my opinion the course is a very good way to teach online teachers. I did like the curating with different persons.
